Hey everyone,

Apr 22, 2018  I have a Ford Fusion 17' w/Sync 3 as well. I have a Pixel XL with 7.1.2 and I did have some issues with the contacts not downloading as well. What I did is made sure Android auto had all the permissions on in the phone settings. Iphone 4 not syncing phone book to my ford sync system - Answered by a verified Mac Support Specialist. Since Christmas I have note been able to make phone calls from Iphone 4 yet I make calls without any problem. I have repaired by phon. I have a new 4G I phone. I cannot download my contacts to my Ford 2009 Sync.

A few interesting issues I've been having over the past few days.
Firstly I noticed that no matter what I did I could not download my phone book or connect bluetooth stereo from my Note 3. This issue I solved by doing the master reset on the sync systems. Still it seemed odd that I would need to reset the system even though ford had reset it for me on purchase.
Secondly a strange occurrence. I found that while driving under 100kmh (60mph) I could use the button to start a voice command. However after reaching 100kmh it would no longer work. I thought maybe it was a safety feature but noticed I could still make calls via the buttons on my steering wheel or the touch screen which seemed less safe. I looked through the options to see if maybe it was a setting but never found anything. We never changed any settings after that point and the problem persisted for the rest of the day. When we got back in the car to go home i tried the command button again once we reached the freeway. I got over 100kmh and hit the button.. It worked. Thinking it was a fluke I tried it again. Still worked. WTF lol I have no idea why it decided to change.. Any one else experience anything similar or know what happened?

Lastly, I had an issue with the cruise control. While driving on the free way i decided to test it out since it was my first day with the Flex and the buttons were a bit different then the old one. Turned on okay. Went to set it by pushing the +or - button in the up direction. Wouldn't set so I then pushed it down and it set the speed. This was the opposite from what the manual said so i thought it was a fluke and just figured it was down instead of up, no biggy. Then i went to increase the speed! Figuring it would be the + button on the steering wheel I hit it. Nothing happened. I tried it several more times and nothing happened. Then I pressed the minus button and wallah! The speed increased. Still the + did nothing. I turned it off thinking I would have to take it back to ford. After driving a bit I decided to try it for the 6th time (lol). I turned it on, no problem, then pressed the plus button to set it.. Nothing. Hit the minus button and the speed set as before. The difference being that now the plus button increased the seed and the minus button lowered it. WTF LMAO im so confused with this car. I will try it again today and see if it still is doing the same or if its back to the first way it worked.
